Software Training Specialist Job Description

BFS is looking for a software training specialist who can quickly master Forecast Pro and effectively train new customers to successfully use Forecast Pro in their forecasting process.  You will be training teams of business users across a wide range of industries, so you should be able to quickly understand team dynamics and identify how Forecast Pro should be implemented within an organization. Forecast Pro is frequently used to support supply chain management and demand forecasting, so previous supply chain experience is strongly preferred. This position offers a flexible remote and in office schedule. You will be providing training online and in person, so some travel is required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct hands on training sessions for Forecast Pro users, ensuring that each individual client experience is optimized by utilizing the solution fully and appropriately
    • These sessions will be primarily delivered remotely using MS Teams
    • Training may also be delivered in-person at the customer’s site
  • Follow up with newly trained customers to ensure and improve user confidence
  • Serve customers by answering their questions quickly, clearly, and courteously
  • Partner with the account management team to coordinate and track progress of new customers
  • Continually create, refine, and improve the training process, curriculum, and collateral materials
  • Work with the Forecast Pro support and development teams to resolve customer issues

Requirements for the Position

  • 2+ years of experience providing training, education, technical support and/or consulting services to software end users
  • Ability to travel (on average, once per month for 2-3 days)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Teams, and Outlook
  • Ability to work/travel alone or as part of a team
  • Knowledge of ERP, and data warehouse systems such as SQL Server is a plus
  • Supply Chain and S&OP knowledge is a plus
  • Knowledge of math and statistics is a plus

Total Compensation (base + bonus): $80,000+, depending on experience.
