# Forecasting Tab

By default, Forecast Pro will use expert selection, an Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven engine, to automatically select a forecasting model for each item on the Navigator. You may specify if you want expert selection to include machine learning models, Box-Jenkins (ARIMA) models, seasonal simplification and/or NA-CL models on [The Performance Tab](https://www.forecastpro.com/documentation/forecast-pro-trac/forecast-pro-options/the-performance-tab/) of the Option dialog box. Alternatively, you may select alternative models and/or forecasting options on the **Forecasting** tab.
