Demand Works Integrates Forecast Pro With Collaborative Demand Management Solution

Belmont, MA—January 15, 2004— Demand Works has integrated Business Forecast Systems Inc.'s (BFS) market-leading business forecasting software—Forecast Pro® SDK—into its Demand Works DP™ solution for collaborative demand planning. With this embedded integration, Demand Works uses Forecast Pro to generate statistical forecasts that serve as the starting point for collaborative demand and supply plans. The resulting shared plans improve manufacturer and retailer profitability and increase market share by minimizing inventories and improving product availability.

Demand Works DP harnesses the forecasting power of Forecast Pro and enables those with knowledgeable input—such as planners, salespeople, marketing manager and customers—to collaborate via personalized browser-based views to improve and share demand and inventory plans.
